The Family & Educational Wellness Center is looking for dynamic clinicians who hold current Massachusetts licenses (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, HSP) to join our energetic team in supporting the well-being of children, adolescents, adults, and families through in-person and telehealth psychotherapy. The FEW Center is a thriving practice in a sought-after location with newly-designed therapy spaces and friendly, collaborative staff. There are numerous opportunities for peer consultation and support, as well opportunities to build a client-base around specific areas of expertise. The FEW Center is directed by Dr. Craig Murphy, who has been working with children, adolescents, families, and schools for over 20 years. We are eager to hire both experienced clinicians and those new to the field to keep pace with the current demand for therapy services. Job Description:

  • ​Provide individual and/or family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Complete intake and diagnostic assessments according to the DSM-V and ICD-10 diagnostic manuals.
  • Complete cognitive and academic assessments to support students, families, and school districts who are struggling to understand complex learning profiles.
  • Complete clinical and diagnostic assessments to support children, adolescents, and families who are struggling to understand complex emotional and behavioral profiles.
  • Complete risk and threat assessments (or Safety Assessments) for school districts and families who are confronted with concerning behaviors and/or actions that make it difficult to determine if students are safe to return to educational environments.
  • Complete all necessary clinical documentation for clients and families.
  • Maintain adherence to outpatient contracts.
  • Consult with collaterals and other providers for continuity of care.
  • Attend group supervision and staff meetings, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline such as psychology, school psychology, counseling psychology, or social work.
  • Current professional license in Massachusetts (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, HSP).
  • Experience in outpatient treatment and/or schools preferred.
  • Must be a motivated professional who is eager to learn and experience professional growth.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Proficiency in the use of computer systems for clinical information management.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interactive communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce written reports in a timely manner.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and follow through with multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to respond to and follow through with requests professionally.

The Family & Educational Wellness Center is looking for psychometricians to join our energetic team in supporting the well-being of children, adolescents, adults, and families who are currently going through the evaluation process. The FEW Center is a thriving practice in a sought-after location with newly-designed therapy spaces and friendly, collaborative staff. There are numerous opportunities for professional growth in the Psychometrician position. The FEW Center is directed by Dr. Craig Murphy, who has been working with children, adolescents, families, and schools for over 20 years. We are eager to hire experienced psychometricians, many of whom are likely currently working as school psychologists. Do what you love with the support you need!

Job Description:

  • Work directly with Dr. Murphy to assist in the evaluation process.
  • Score assessment batteries and insert data into Psychometric Summaries.
  • Integrate information from educational records and evaluations to write comprehensive background sections for psychological reports.

Qualifications:

  • College degree is required.

The Family & Educational Wellness Center is looking for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our energetic team in supporting the well-being of children, adolescents, adults, and families through medication evaluations and follow up with children, adolescents and adults patients who have a wide variety of psychiatric issues. The FEW Center is a thriving practice in a sought-after location with newly-designed therapy spaces and friendly, collaborative staff. There are numerous opportunities for peer consultation and support, as well opportunities to build a client-base around specific areas of expertise. The FEW Center is directed by Dr. Craig Murphy, who has been working with children, adolescents, families, and schools for over 20 years. We are eager to hire a psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner on a part-time basis to meet the increasing mental health and medical needs of our families. Job Description:

  • Perform comprehensive psychiatric examinations of patients.
  • Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic psychiatric illnesses.
  • Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments.
  • Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.
  • Communicate with collaborating physician regarding patient care.
  • Perform prior authorizations for prescribed medications, if necessary.
  • If interested, provide individual and/or family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a Massachusetts state-approved masters level school of nursing with specialty focus in psychiatric nursing.
  • Current or eligible for Commonwealth of Massachusetts license and Board Certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (Or CNS with psychiatric specialty) with approved prescriptive practice for psychotropic medications.
  • Active Federal DEA and Massachusetts MCSR Certificate required or in process.
  • Ability to perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and psychotropic medication management using an Electronic Health Record.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of postgraduate experience as a psychiatric nurse clinician, one year of experience in an outpatient mental health setting preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with and demonstrated ability to interact professionally with a culturally and educationally diverse culture of staff and clients.
  • Established written and oral communication skills; and demonstrated effectiveness in working collaboratively with health care providers across a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Proficiency in time management and organizational skills a must.
  • At least 2-3 years previous experience as a prescribing psychiatric advance practice nurse.
  • Full time, part-time, FFS basis. Flexible schedule morning, afternoon, evenings or weekends.
